The Calculators

  • For Students Taking On-Campus Classes  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  UndergraduateGraduateLawMSPA
        – courses normally delivered in on-campus classroom or other "face-to-face" scenarios, having section numbers 001 to 799
  • For Students Taking Off-Campus / Online (a.k.a. "Extended Campus") Classes  . . . . . . . .  UndergraduateGraduate
        – courses normally delivered in off-campus "face-to-face" or online or "hybrid" scenarios, having section numbers 900 to 989
    Students taking On-Campus and Extended Campus courses at the same time will need to reference both types of the above calculators.

Other Cost Information

  • For Military Programs Students
        – these students normally register for Extended Campus courses and are assessed that way (or, if they qualify, this way)
  • For Online MBA Degree Students
        – these students normally register for online courses having section numbers 840 to 849 and are assessed $854 per credit hour
  • For School of Medicine M.D. Students
        – M.D. degree students registered in courses with subject code SMED, normally for 21 hours per term
        – M.D. degree student budgets:  2017-2018, 2018-2019
  • For School of Medicine MEDPREP and Graduate Students
        – students enrolled exclusively in the MEDPREP post-baccalaureate program are normally assessed at undergraduate rates
        – MEDPREP students also enrolled in a graduate program at the same time are normally assessed at graduate student rates
        – M.S. or Ph.D. degree students are normally assessed at graduate student rates
        – M.S.P.A. degree students are assessed graduate student tuition plus a tuition surcharge as calculated here
  • For SIUE Regional Nursing Program at Carbondale Undergraduate Students
        – students in this collaborative program will be billed by both SIUC and SIUE to cover tuition and general student fees
               ♦ students are billed by SIUE for SIUE tuition and the SIUE Information Technology fee based on SIUE course enrollment
               ♦ students are billed by SIUC for SIUC tuition and the SIUC Information Technology fee based on any SIUC course enrollment
               ♦ students are billed by SIUC for other general student fees based on the combined SIUE/SIUC course enrollment
        – this billing arrangement is per a 2010 Intra-University System Memorandum of Understanding between SIUE and SIUC
