Starting with the Fall 2020 semester, non-resident graduate students who have previously earned a degree from SIUC1 and who are starting a new SIUC graduate program2 will pay an alternate tuition rate of 1.0 times the current in-state graduate tuition rate.
This alternate tuition rate will not apply to graduate or professional students enrolled in programs in the School of Law or the School of Medicine.
1 This degree can be an AAS degree, a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, a Doctoral degree, or a professional degree (such as JD or MD). The earned degree must have been appropriately awarded to the student by SIUC.
2 The SIUC graduate program must be a formal degree-seeking program. (Students who are enrolled in the Graduate School with a "non-declared" major are not in such a program.) Students who qualify to pay this alternate tuition rate and who later enroll in other appropriate SIUC graduate programs can continue to pay this alternate tuition rate while doing so.
